    Hi everybody!

I realize that there is quite a bit of controversy behind getting a pet door installed in your home, but there are also a number of benefits as well. Some of the main benefits include: health, freedom for your pet, reducing stress for both you and your pet, and lastly as an escape route.

Many people are concerned that their dog might run away or that someone might break into their house, but there are measures in place that can prevent that. Most pet doors include a locking cover that you can slide over your pet door to prevent entry or exit. If you want more security, you can get a pet door that only opens for your dog through microchip or collar key detection. To prevent your pet from running away, it is recommended that you install a pet door in a fenced off area where your pet can still play and potty and be safe at the same time.
